One-Way Traffic Control for January 12-18, 2025 

January 10, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows: 

STATE ROUTE 132 

  • One-way traffic control at Hidalgo Street for utility work on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

STATE ROUTE 140 

  • One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, January 12, through Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. 
  • One-way traffic control from the beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Wednesday, January 15, through Friday, January 17, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
  • One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 
  • One-way traffic control from Hummingbird Lane to Agua Fria Road for utility work on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
  • One-way traffic control from Yaqui Gulch Road to Agua Fria Road for utility work on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
