January 10, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that Homicide detectives with the FCSO are investigating the shooting death of a man.

Minutes before 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, dispatchers received a call of shots being fired near the intersection of S. Academy and E. Adams Avenues in a county portion of Parlier. Deputies arrived on scene and found a man outside on the ground who had suffered gunshot wounds. They attempted to provide him medical aid, but he died a short time later.

Detectives and our Crime Scene Unit are collecting evidence and speaking with people who live in the area. No suspect(s) have been identified. The name and age of the victim are not available at this time.
