Sheriff John Anderson just announced Ismael Botello has been located. Fresno Police just confirmed he is at his home in Fresno.
The at risk male adult, who was staying at the ECCO campground with family, was said to have vanished from that location sometime last night. The Sheriff’s Office received word of his disappearance this morning at 8:06 AM. While Madera County Sheriff’s Deputies, SAR Volunteers, Sheriff’s OHV unit, and CHP H-40 searched for the missing person in the Oakhurst area, the Sheriff’s Office also requested assistance from the Fresno Police Department, in the event that he may have made his way back to Fresno.
September 7, 2014 - Madera County Sheriff is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing at risk adult male who wandered away from ECCO campground, located above Sky Ranch Road in Oakhurst.

Ismael-Botello56-year old Ismael Botello, of Fresno, is described as dark complected Hispanic male. He stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Has black (nearly collar length) hair, and sports a salt and pepper mustache. 

He was last seen wearing a brown and orange plaid shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and light colored blue baseball cap.

The Sheriff’s Office was notified that he was missing at 8:06 AM.

According to family, he likes to take long walks, and was last seen on a trail that loops around the campground. Deputies are focusing on that particular area, as well as canvassing CA-41 and Road 222, because he may have wondered off the trail, possibly heading south toward Oakhurst or even Bass Lake.
