January 22, 2025 – Mariposa County Sheriff's Office officials report that Cherie Hogan has been located.
Cherie has been located. Over the last few weeks since she was reported missing, our Deputies and Detectives have been diligently following up on all leads, tips and 
information we received. One of the techniques we use when we have vehicle information is leveraging License Plate Readers also known as LPR. These readers are located throughout the United States. Once a license plate "hits" the reader our office is contacted, and we are able to contact law enforcement in the area to be our eyes and quickly respond to the area or "be on the lookout".
Cherie has been located in another state. She left the area on her own accord. She is not and has not been in any danger.
We appreciate all of the information from the public on Cherie and her possible whereabouts.
