One-Way Traffic Control for January 26 - February 1, 2025 

January 24, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures this week on State Route 140 (SR-140) for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows: 

STATE ROUTE 140 

  • One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 
  • Conventional moving highway with right shoulder closures from the passing lane in Catheys Valley to Yosemite National Park for sweeping operations beginning Monday, January 27, through Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
