January 31, 2025 - National Weather Service Hanford Office officials report the following: A Flood Watch has been issued for Mariposa Madera Foothills-Mariposa-Madera Lower Sierra-Yosemite Valley- Including the cities of Coarsegold, Bass Lake, North Fork, El Portal, Yosemite Valley, Oakhurst, Mariposa, and Fish Camp.

3-4 inches of rain through Sunday afternoon.

In effect until 4:00 A.M. Sunday morning.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central California, including the following
  areas, Mariposa Madera Foothills, Mariposa-Madera Lower Sierra and
  Yosemite Valley.

* WHEN...Through late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Excessive rainfall up to 3 inches is possible.
