Kings County Fire Captain Passes Away 

February 3, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials announce the passing of Kings County Fire Captain Mark Eads.

Please join Sheriff Boudreaux, and everyone at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, in sending prayers to the family of Kings TCSO Captain Mark EadsCounty Fire Captain Mark Eads. 

Captain Eads, 62, died on Saturday night when he suffered a medical emergency while on a fire call in Avenal.

Eads served Kings County for more than 20 years. We ask that you keep his family and friends, and the men and women of the Kings County Fire Department, in your thoughts during this difficult time.
