Fatal Crash Investigation 

February 6, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that on the evening of February 4, 2025, at approximately 7:30 P.M., MPD patrol officers responded to a crash involving a motorcyclist and a Nissan Altima near Sylvan Avenue and Carson Oak Drive. Officers arrived to find the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary findings indicate the collision occurred near the intersection. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Both involved parties were Modesto residents.
