February 8, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff's Office officials report that K9 Obie is back in action.
You can’t keep a good dog down. Welcome back, Obie.
Thank you to our beloved community for your encouragement, support, and kindness in the aftermath of K9 Obie’s shooting. We would also like to thank the wonderful medical team whose quick action and expertise allowed him to make a full recovery.
Finally, we express our deepest gratitude to Deputy Grever and his family for their unwavering commitment to nursing Obie back to health and providing him with the love and care he needs and deserves.
