Last month, led by their teacher/play director Teena Starchman and aide/vocal coach Christy Lombard, the third and fourth grade class at Sierra Foothill Charter School did an excellent job performing the play, "Mighty Minds: A Musical that Makes Learning Fun!"

They first performed the play for the student body and staff and then, the next day, for family and friends.

The play addresses the stress related to standardized testing and how to study to be prepared and ready for the test and life in general.
Oh, no, standardized testing is happening soon. Ms. Starchman's third and fourth graders wonder what they are going to do in the class production of, "Mighty Minds: A Musical that Makes Learning Fun!"

Their teacher tells them not to fear. She's calling MIghty Minds.

Getting ready for the performance involved a lot of memorizing, a lot of musicality, and a lot of following stage directions. Students did an excellent job with this and with performing in front of large audiences.
