Fatal Traffic Collision on West Orangeburg Avenue 

February 14, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that shortly after 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 13, 2025, MPD officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on West Orangeburg Avenue near Evergreen Drive involving a Ford Mustang and a Dodge Ram truck.

Upon arrival, officers found the Mustang’s driver suffering from major injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary investigation indicates that a black Ford Mustang traveling eastbound on West Orangeburg collided with a Dodge Ram near the Evergreen Drive intersection. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The Dodge Ram’s driver and passenger were uninjured. All individuals involved are Modesto residents.
