February 18, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that officers from the Southwest District Safety Team conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Clark Avenue and McKenzie Avenue for multiple vehicle code violations, including having two different attached license plates that did not belong to the vehicle. The driver’s license was also found to be suspended. 

During the search of the vehicle prior to the tow, a loaded handgun was found concealed. An additional handgun, several gun parts, and ammunition were also located within the vehicle. The driver is a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition. He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on various firearm-related charges.
