TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control for February 23 - March 1, 2025
February 22, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
- One-way traffic control from Princeton Way to Mount Bullion Cutoff Road for utility work on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
- One-way traffic control from the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, February 23, through Friday, February 28, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control from Lower Trower Road to the Beginning of Passing Lane for utility work on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from the Beginning to the End of Passing Lane for utility work on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Mount Bullion Cutoff to Hummingbird Lane for utility work on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
