February 22, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that southeast officers responded to the area of Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Peach Avenue for the report of a driver who pointed a firearm at another driver. Officers arrived and discovered that the victim had been stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, the vehicle in front of her did not move. The victim honked her horn to alert the driver of the green light. The suspect driver threw a can of Febreze at the victim and hit her in the head. The suspect driver then retrieved a firearm, pointed it at the victim, pulled the trigger, and then drove away. Officers conducted a high-risk vehicle stop on the suspect vehicle at Van Ness Avenue and Inyo Street. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. 

Inside the vehicle, officers located a handgun with nine live rounds of ammunition in the magazine.

The suspect was arrested on numerous firearms charges and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
