PUBLIC NOTICE: Indian Peak Bridge Replacement & Road Closure 

February 25, 2025 – Mariposa County officials announce the Mariposa County Department of Public Works will begin construction on the Indian Peak Bridge, requiring a full road closure for a section of Indian Peak Road near Hirsch Road.

Closure Start:
Monday, March 3, 2025, at 7:00 A.M.

Expected Reopening:
End of April 2025 (weather permitting)

Early Completion:
Updates will be provided if work finishes ahead of schedule.

Access Information:

Indian Peak Road addresses: Access via SR 49 South (Includes Oak Grove Road, Humbug Creek Drive, Sierra Vista Way).

Indian Peak Road addresses 4052 & below:
Access via Hirsch or Usona Roads (Includes Bronco Hollow Lane).
