March 7, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Thursday, February 27, 2025, detectives from the Special Investigations Bureau, Major Narcotics Unit, and Southwest District Safety Team conducted a drug sales operation in the area of Fruit Avenue and Belmont Avenue. During the search warrant execution, detectives seized numerous firearms, narcotics, and stolen property. Among the 12 firearms, three were reported stolen, and one was a privately manufactured firearm.
Additionally, detectives discovered figurines stolen from Fresno’s Playland. The “Three Little Pigs and The Big Bad Wolf” figurines, originally on display at Disneyland before being purchased by Fresno’s Playland, were stolen in December 2023. Southwest area detectives were thrilled to be able to return the figurines to their home.
Felix Diaz was arrested for numerous firearms, drug sales, and stolen property violations, and booked into the Fresno County Jail. Diaz is a convicted felon and a documented gang member with an extensive criminal history.
