4 23 16 Pet Parade sm

On Saturday, April 23rd, 2016 come out and join the Mariposa County High School Rotary Interact Club for Mariposa’s first ever Pet Parade. This parade is for everyone, young and old, just bring your pets. Starting at the high school and wrapping around the Courthouse, this parade is the perfect outing for you and your animal friend. At the start and end of the parade, and throughout, we’ll have several booths set up at the high school in relation to pet health, lunch to benefit the marching band, and more! You can enter the parade at no cost to yourself, and prizes will be awarded in several different categories. Biggest pet, smallest pet, best pet/owner look-alike, you name it.

We only ask that animals weigh under 120 lbs. and that kids 8th grade and under are accompanied by an adult. You must complete a registration form, which can be picked up at the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce, Mariposa Feed Store, MCHS, Woodland School, MES, El Portal or on-line at: MariposaRotary.org. The event will last from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Bring your pets, bring your costumes, and get ready for a good time.
