Week of Art: March 10-16, 2025
March 9, 2025 – March is California Arts Education Month! In Mariposa County, we have a vibrant, dynamic youth art 
scene, which we will shine a light on at events throughout the Week of Art.
And to support arts education in Mariposa County, we invite our community to donate to our week-long fundraiser! Our goal for our Week of Art fundraiser is to raise $1,500 which will be spent towards ensuring students' access to tools they need to express their creativity and unearth their artistic potential.
Check and cash donations will be accepted at all Week of Art events, and online on the Mariposa Arts Council website from March 10-16. No in-kind donations will be accepted.

Day Camp Registration Webinar
Monday, March 10th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Register on the Mariposa Arts Council website to join the Arts Council & SFC team online for the Art + Enviro Day Camp mini documentary debut and 2025 registration Q+A.
Ethos Youth Art & Music Show
At the Ethos Youth Center on Tuesday, March 11th from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Come enjoy live music, local art, collaborative art projects, open mic, snacks and drinks!
Poetry Reading
At the Mariposa Library on Thursday, March 13th from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Join us for an evening celebrating our Poetry Out Loud county champion, Spirit DeWitt. It will also feature a reading from visiting poet Mukethe Kawinzi, a shepherdess on the California coast. Registration is not required. All ages.
In Frame Opening Reception
At the Mariposa Library on Friday, March 14th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Help us kick off the In Frame youth art show with light refreshments and a celebration of participating artists from all around the county!
Partners for the week’s events include: Mariposa Library, Ethos, Mariposa County Unified School District and Sierra Foothill Conservancy.
