Our main topic will be Ms. Sally Uribe speaking about homelessness in our community and how the churches are responding. Project Open Arms has been providing meals and some overnight facilities for quite some time; this is a group of churches that have stepped up to help our homeless. We know that there have been questions recently about the homeless; come hear some facts and figures and what is being done to help them.
We also are excited to have Naz Rydhan speaking to us! Naz Rydhan, from Emerge California, the premier candidate training program for Democratic women in the state, will be discussing the expansion of their program across California and recruiting for the Class of 2015 and future classes.
