Seven Arrested During Long-Term Auto Theft Operation, Two Still Outstanding
March 14, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that over the past six months, the Fresno Police Department’s Career Criminal Auto Theft Team (CCATT) conducted an investigation into an Auto Theft Ring responsible for stealing high performance vehicles including Dodge Chargers, Challengers, Durangos, Infinitis, Jeep Trackhawks, and Chevrolet Camaros. Detectives identified over 75 stolen vehicles, valued at over $3,000,000.
Over the course of the investigation, detectives identified and shut down a large-scale chop shop in Huntington Park, CA, and a second Chop Shop in Fresno. Seven arrests have been made thus far with a total of 110 felony counts. Many of the stolen vehicles and vehicle parts have been recovered. Through the service of multiple search warrants and arrests, ten firearms have also been recovered including multiple prohibited short barrel rifles. Detectives ask the community for help in locating two outstanding suspects on this case, 20-year-old Julian Calderon, and 22-year-old Jordan Rios. The charges against Calderon include stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime, and possess, manufacture, or distribute an assault weapon. Rios is wanted for possessing, manufacturing, or distributing an assault weapon.
