Bridge Fire Update: Today at 7 p.m. Harris Rd will open with no restrictions.

Today September 8th at 7 p.m., the Bridge Fire Incident Commander and Sheriff
will open Harris Rd with no traffic restrictions.


Please continue to drive with caution as emergency personnel and equipment is prevalent.

Please respect private property and remain clear of fire areas.

Evacuations: Effective September 7, 2014 at 7:00 PM the Evacuation Order is lifted for all residents along the “dirt” road section of Harris Road in the Ponderosa Basin. All Evacuation Orders are lifted.

Residents should remain cautious of fire personnel and equipment working in the area.

Road Closures : Effective September 7, 2014 at 7:00 PM the “dirt” section of Harris Road (Harris Rd at Hwy 49S and Harris Rd at Ponderosa Court)

Conditions: Areas outside the control lines will be closely monitored for any new spot fires. The crews will continue mopping up and looking for hot spots within containment lines. Interior portions of the fire will continue to burn and may produce smoke.
