March 17, 2025 – Mariposa County Library officials announce the rescheduling of Catheys Valley Pop-Up Library Kickoff now set for March 20. The library will be taking its services to Catheys Valley!

Please come to the grand opening of our Catheys Valley "Pop-Up Library!" It will be held on Thursday, March 20 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at McCay Hall. It is located at 2820 Highway 140 in Catheys Valley. 

The county will have library cards available so that Catheys Valley community members can sign up as Catheys Valley borrowers and have their own library services! Patrons can check out some new books and movies to display. We will have a craft, a read-aloud for children, and technology assistance. And (perhaps most importantly) we will have cake!
