March 19, 2025 – Modesto Police Department officials report that on March 17, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m., patrol officers responded to a two-vehicle pin-in crash at the intersection of Claus Road and Milnes Road. Upon arrival, officers found one vehicle with an unresponsive driver. Medical personnel arrived shortly thereafter and attempted life-saving measures. However, despite their efforts, the driver sadly succumbed to his injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a black Acura ILX, driven by a Waterford man, was traveling westbound on Milnes Road as it approached the intersection at Claus Road. As the driver entered Claus Road, his vehicle was broadsided by a white Ford F-150 truck driven by a Modesto man.
