March 23, 2025 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on March 17, 2025, Deputies assigned to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Frazier Park Substation were dispatched to the 600 block of Laguna Trail, the Frazier Park Market, in Frazier Park to investigate suspicious circumstances.

The investigation revealed on March 14, 2025, an unknown male distracted an employee while a female placed a skimming device onto the payment terminal. The subjects exited the store and fled in a burgundy sedan. The device was located within by employees.

The suspects were described as an unknown race male, with a medium build, short black hair wearing blue jeans and a dark colored jacket. The additional suspect was an unknown race female with long, blonde hair wearing a black jacket, a white shirt, and dark colored pants.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying the two people accused of placing a skimming device at the business.
