This year it begins at sundown, Friday, April 22nd, 2016.  The Mother Lode Jewish Community (MLJC) will be holding their annual Passover Dinner and Seder on the second night, Saturday, April 23rd at 5 p.m. at a location in Sonora.  Rabbi Andra Greenwald will be leading the Seder.  Everyone is welcome.

The dinner is partially catered:  Roast Brisket, Vegetable side, Green Salad, Soup with Matzo Balls, Matzo, Charoset, Gefilte Fish, Hard Boiled Eggs, Horseradish, Parsley & Dessert Chocolate Matzo, coffee & tea, so that reservations and pre-payment are required.  Early-bird and Last-minute rates for members and non-members are listed on the Mother Lode website.

Participants are encouraged to supplement this catered menu by bringing their family’s favorite traditional side dish or dessert and beverage.  A prep party is being organized for earlier in the week and anyone who wants to learn how to prepare some of the traditional dishes is welcome.
