Four Arrested During Major County-Wide Drug Bust
March 30, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that at around 7:00 a.m. on March 28, 2025, TCSO Detectives, with help from Porterville Police, the Department of Corrections, California Fish & Game, and the Kern County Sheriff's Office, served multiple search warrants across Porterville, Tulare, Poplar, and Earlimart.
During the searches, Detectives found illegal marijuana and cocaine sales, seized around 800 marijuana plants, and recovered several firearms.
Four active Norteño gang members were also arrested:
25-year-old Fernando Moreno-Morales
24-year-old Carlos Farfan
24-year-old David Vielma
35-year-old Alejandro Gutierrez
All were wanted for their involvement in the illicit drug trade. They were booked at the South County Jail Facility.
