Do your children have an interest on attending a camp? Try new activities such as climbing wall, giant swing, and water slide? Then send them to 4-H Camp Tweety slated for June 25-27, 2016 at the Camp Oakhurst in Coarsegold. Mariposa County 4-H invites all 4th-8th grade children to come join the fun at Camp Tweety.
The camp will begin on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and end on Monday afternoon. Camp activities will include archery, BB guns, crafts, tie-dying, and more. Along with these activities the campers will enjoy a campfire with skits and songs. Camp theme is “Super Heroes”. Youth need to be age 9 by December 31, 2015. The registration fee of $150 is for 4-H members and $188 for non-4-Hers (includes $38 insurance/enrollment fee) for (7) meals, snacks, materials, and a camp souvenir. Non-4-Her forms are available at the UCCE Office or call the office to have one mailed.
Registrations are now being taken but fee is not due until May 27 or sooner. After this date, a $10 late fee will be added. Make checks payable to “Mariposa 4-H Council”. We will take payment arrangements but fee must be paid by the May 27 date. Check to see if any scholarships are available.
