On Saturday, April 30th, 2016, during Butterfly Weekend, the Mariposa Museum & History Center will be hosting an Open House. All of the outside buildings will be open for visitors to take a peek, there will be panning lessons, vendors displaying their crafts, a Quilt Show, and Quilt turning, along with free admissions for the entire day.
There are tickets on sale for a beautiful handmade quilt that will be raffled the following weekend, Saturday, May 7th, with all proceeds going to support the Mariposa Museum.
Central Valley Prospectors will have a booth at the open house and they will be selling tickets for their raffle on Sunday, May 15th of a Gold Eagle Nugget at the Gold Prospecting Show in Fresno, Ca.
So all in all, this promises to be a fun filled day for all who care to venture on over to the Mariposa Museum & History Center to make their day complete during Butterfly Weekend.
