Next of Kin - Public Assistance 

April 5, 2025 – Madera County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are seeking the public’s help in locating the next of kin for 55-year-old Joel Hernandez (AKA Joel Hernandez Antonio) (DOB 07/13/1969), who passed away in the city of Madera on March 23, 2025.

Mr. Hernandez was an unhoused resident in the city of Madera prior to his death. The Coroner’s Office has searched through numerous personal records, but unfortunately, we have been unable to conclusively identify or locate any of his family members. If anyone has information about Mr. Hernandez, or how to get in contact with his next of kin, please contact the Madera County Coroner’s Office at (559) 675-7774.
