Pixley Attempted Murder Suspect Tracked Down in Kern County 

April 12, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that just before 4:30 a.m. on April 11, 2025, TCSO Deputies were called to a home on the 11300 Block of Williams Avenue in Pixley for a stabbing. 

When they arrived, Deputies found one victim with a stab wound to the neck and another victim with a bite wound. The stabbing victim was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. The suspect 37-year-old Leticia Salas of Porterville ran away from the scene before Deputies arrived. 

Detectives were able to track down Salas’ vehicle. And with the help of allied agencies, she was taken into custody in Kern County.  Salas faces charges of attempted murder and felony assault.
