At-Risk Missing Person
April 24, 2025 – Merced, CA – Merced Police Department officials report that on April 23, 2025, the family of 78-year-old Billy Joe 
Jones reported him as a missing person. They are concerned for his well-being. Jones was last seen on Wednesday in the area of Olive Avenue and R Street in Merced at approximately 5:00 P.M.
Mr. Jones is a Black male and has gray hair, brown eyes, stands 5’8” tall and weighs 120 pounds. Jones was last seen wearing a blue scally cap, blue shirt and a green backpack with circles on it.
