One-Way Traffic Control & Full Highway Closure for April 27 - May 3, 2025 

April 26, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures next week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from Princeton Way to Bear Valley Point for tree work beginning Monday, April 28, through Friday, April 25, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from French Camp Road to Whitlock Road for utility work on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• Full highway closure from South SR-49 to North SR-49 for special event on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
