Daytime Ramp Closures Scheduled for Next Week in the City of Fresno 

April 26, 2025 – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces multiple ramp closures throughout Fresno next week. caltrans logoCrews will be sealing cracks, doing minor repairs, and sweeping operations at these locations. All closures will happen between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

The following will occur:

  • Monday, April 28th: The northbound State Route 41 circle on-ramp, at Friant Avenue, will be closed for crack sealant repairs.
  • Tuesday, April 29th: The westbound State Route 168 straight on-ramp, at Shaw Avenue, will be closed for crack sealant repairs.
  • Wednesday, April 30th: The southbound State Route 99 off-ramp, at Herndon Avenue, will be closed for minor repairs and sweeping.
  • Thursday, May 1st: The westbound State Route 180 circle on-ramp, at Clovis Avenue, will be closed for crack sealant repairs.
  • All closures will be from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. 

The closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
