May 1, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that southeast officers responded to a call for service in the area of Butler Avenue and Fifth Street regarding a possible armed subject. After canvassing the area, they contacted two 16-year-old males. 

Upon conducting a search of the juveniles, officers located a stolen handgun in a waistband. That juvenile is currently on probation for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Justice Center on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and violating probation.
