May 1, 2025 – Merced Police Department officials report that they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft that occurred at a local business on E Yosemite Ave. The suspect stole a purse from an employee and exited the premises through an emergency exit. A similar incident occurred at another nearby facility in the same business area.
