May 2, 2025 – Mariposa County announces FREE Tire Amnesty Days for Mariposa County residents through the end of May.

Mariposa County residents can dispose of up to 9 passenger car tires or passenger truck tires (without rims) for FREE! No tires from waste tire businesses will be accepted. Proof of Mariposa County residency is required to participate.

Don Pedro Transfer Station during normal operating hours in May on Thursday & Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

Mariposa County Solid Waste & Recycling Center every Wednesdays in May from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
