TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control & Full Highway Closure for May 4-10, 2025 

May 3, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures thist week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Princeton Way to Bear Valley Point for tree work beginning Monday, May 5, through Thursday, May 8, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., and on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from French Camp Road to Whitlock Road for utility work on Tuesday, May 6, 20252, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from French Camp Road to Mykleoaks Road for landscaping work on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control from Lower Trower Road to SR-49 North for slope repair work beginning Sunday, May 4, through Friday, May 9, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic at Fourth Street for banner work on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
