Two People Found Dead in Hughson Home 

May 5, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at 9:28 A.M., Stanislaus Regional 911 received a Stanislaus SO deathcall from a juvenile stating their parents were deceased. Deputies responded immediately to the 1700 block of Fontana Ranch Road in Hughson.

Upon arrival, deputies safely evacuated two children from the home. During a search of the premises, they discovered two deceased adults, one male and one female.

We can confirm that one of the deceased adults is an employee of the Sheriff’s Office. Due to the nature of the circumstances, the Modesto Police Department and the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office are responding to take over the investigation. No further information will be released at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation.
