TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for May 11-17, 2025 

May 9, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Tuesday, May 13, through Thursday, May 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from SR-132 to Penon Blanco Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, May 13, through Thursday, May 15, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., and on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control from Lower Trower Road to Smith Road for slope repair work beginning Monday, May 12, through Friday, May 16, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
