One-Way Traffic Control Will be in Place on Sections of State Route 41 for Two Tree Trimming Operations This Week, Near Oakhurst, in Madera County. 

May 9, 2025 – OAKHURST, CA – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be doing two tree trimming operations, on State Route 41, near Oakhurst, this caltrans logoweek. Both operations are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12th and Tuesday, May 13th.

The following will occur on Monday, May 12th:

  • One-way traffic control will be in place over Deadwood Pass just south of Oakhurst.
  • Both northbound and southbound lanes will be impacted.
  • The work is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
  • Drivers may experience short delays during this time.

The following will occur on Tuesday, May 13th:

  • One-way traffic control will be in place between Old Barn Way and El Cid Road just north of Oakhurst.
  • Both northbound and southbound lanes will be impacted.
  • The work is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
  • Drivers may experience short delays during this time.

The time frame of the one-way traffic control may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
