Officer Involved Shooting Update 

May 10, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report the suspect involved in the officer-involved shooting that occurred on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, has been identified as 31-year-old Martin Campos.

The investigation determined that he was not struck by gunfire; however, he is currently receiving treatment at Community Regional Medical Center for other injuries. Upon his discharge, he will be booked into the Fresno County Jail on multiple charges, including two counts of attempted murder, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, and several weapons violations.

Campos has prior criminal convictions for narcotic related offenses.
