Detectives Shift Focus Back to 2017 Huron Murder 

May 11, 2025 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s FCSO murder HuronOffice have received new information about the murder 22-year-old Jesus Adrian Amador Jr. of Huron.  This has caused detectives to shift their focus back to the case.  They are now asking the public for help to get involved and help them find the person who killed Amador.

On Monday, March 27, 2017, at 2:30 P.M., the Huron Police Department received a call of shots being fired in the area of Lassen Avenue and Tornado Avenue.  While checking the area, they located two victims on 10th Street, east of Lassen Ave., who had been shot.  One of the victims, Jesus Amador, was shot multiple times and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC).  The second victim was treated and released on scene.  Amador later died.
