TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control for May 18-24, 2025 

May 16, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures this week on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

• One-way traffic control from SR-132 to Penon Blanco Road for tree work beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, through Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 132

• One-way traffic control from Jalapa Way to Josephina Way for utility work on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

• One-way traffic control from Lower Trower Road to Smith Road for slope repair work beginning Sunday, May 18, 2025, through Monday, May 19, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from Lower Trower Road to Smith Road for slope repair work beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, through Friday, May 23, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• One-way traffic control from Bull Creek Road to South Fork Merced River for shoulder work beginning Monday, May 19, 2025, through Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Slate Gulch to Foresta Road for shoulder work beginning Wednesday, May 21, 2025, through Friday, May 23, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
