Ramp and Lane Closures Planned on Southbound State Route 99, Through the City of Madera on May 27-30, 2025
May 24, 2025 – MADERA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces a drain cleaning and landscape project for next week. From Tuesday, May 27th through Friday, May 30th, there will be intermittent lane and ramp closures between Cleveland Avenue and Almond Avenues. The work is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The following will occur between Tuesday, May 27th through Friday, May 30th, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day:
- Intermittent lane closures, along southbound State Route 99, between Cleveland Avenue and Almond Avenue.
- Intermittent on and off-ramp closures, along southbound State Route 99, between Cleveland Avenue and Almond Avenue.
- The closures are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. each day.
- Please plan accordingly.
The closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
