Passing of Long-Time Serving TCSO Aero Squad Leader 

May 24, 2025 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials sadly announce the passing of TCSO Aero Squadron Member Bennie Harvey.

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux is saddened to announce the death of TCSO Aero Squadron Member Bennie Harvey on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. Mr. Harvey was 90.

Bennie began volunteering for the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Aero Squadron back in the 1980s. He was a dedicated volunteer and a past commander with an unwavering commitment to public service and aviation safety.

Bennie is survived by Janet, his wife of 68 years; their son, Mike Harvey, a retired TCSO deputy; and multiple grandchildren and great children. He was predeceased by his daughter, Vicki.

Sheriff Boudreaux and the men and women of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office offer our deepest condolences to Bennie’s family.
