May 25, 2025 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 6, 2025, Rural Crimes Detectives arrested Richard Allen White of Vacaville, CA, after he was caught in the act of removing copper piping from a business in Westley. White attempted to flee on foot but ultimately surrendered with assistance from the Sheriff’s Department helicopter.

Despite being out on bail, White returned to the same business on May 21, 2025, accompanied by two accomplices. When Deputies and Detectives arrived, White had already fled. However, surveillance in the area led Detectives to spot White emerging from a hiding place nearby. He was taken into custody without incident.

White now faces additional burglary charges, as well as charges for committing a crime while out on bail.
