With a wide variety of classes available, Merced College’s Summer Session provides students with a jump on their education at an affordable price. University students who are home for the summer can earn units needed for their degree.
At both the Merced and Los Banos campuses, counseling and other student services offices are open during Summer Session on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On June 7-8, offices extend their hours to 7 p.m.
In addition, the Tutorial Center on the Merced campus will be open Monday through Thursday from 9-11 a.m., and from 1-4 p.m. The Open Math Lab is available Monday through Thursday from 10 to 11:30 a.m., and from 1 to 4 p.m.
Summer registration fees are only $46 per unit. The health fee is $14 and parking is $10 for the entire session or $1 per day.
Available classes include those in Allied Health, Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, English, Economics, Math, Physics, Psychology, and more.
