One-Way Traffic Control for June 1-7, 2025 

May 31, 2025 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

  • One-way traffic control from Greeley Hill to Penon Blanco Road for tree work beginning Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

  • One-way traffic control from Slate Gulch to Foresta Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
