June 6, 2025 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on June 5, 2025, the Fresno Police Department’s Career Criminal Auto-Theft Team arrested seven juvenile auto theft suspects ranging in age from 13-16 years old. The arrests and warrants were related to 16 stolen Kia and Hyundai vehicles and one commercial burglary. During the operation, detectives located a firearm in the possession of one of the juvenile suspects. The suspects are facing multiple felony charges.   

Due to the proactive efforts of patrol and CCAT, KIA thefts are down by 61%, Hyundai thefts are down by 43%, and all auto thefts are down by 38% compared to 2024 year to date.
