June 15, 2025 - MID announces fireworks return to Lake McClure in Mariposa County on Saturday July 5, 2025 - here's what you need to know:
ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE THROUGH YODEL.
ONLY PREPURCHASED TICKETS THROUGH YODEL WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE GATE, NO CASH OR CARDS.

The entrance fee to MID Parks is $25 per vehicle the day of the event. The boat entrance fee is $9 per trailer. Visitors can access the park anytime. Access to the fireworks parking area will open at 6 p.m.
Annual pass holders have free entry into this event. Bring your annual pass hangtag with you to the event. If you have a annual pass boat sticker, your boat is included and paid for as a part of this event. Annual Passes can be purchased online at www.lakemcclure.com.
The fireworks display will begin at dusk or around 9 p.m. Recreation at Lakes McClure and McSwain is open all day with fireworks viewing areas open at McClure Point at 6 p.m. Entrance to Lake McClure will be through the MID Parks Entrance at 9090 Lake McClure Road, Snelling. Visitors are welcome to arrive early and spend the day at Lakes McClure and McSwain.

PARKING: Parking will be available in designated areas. Vehicles left in no-parking zones may be ticketed.
OVERNIGHT CAMPING: Limited camping may still be available at Lake McClure. You may access the MID Parks reservation page HERE.
BOATING: Visitors are welcome to enjoy the show from their boats. All night-time navigation laws will be enforced. Unless already a current annual boat-pass holder, visitors to the event must also purchase a $9 Event Boat Day Use ticket through YODEL.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring your friends, family & folding chairs to enjoy a great show. Be prepared with sunscreen and appropriate clothing for hot weather. Remember to bring food and drinks, ice chests and plenty of ice. If viewing the fireworks from a boat, be prepared for an extended wait returning to the launch ramp and consider having extra dry towels and warm clothing, as well as a flashlight.
WHAT NOT TO BRING: Do NOT bring your own personal fireworks. They are prohibited in Mariposa County.
Please be advised: all local ordinances will be enforced. Law enforcement will be present throughout the event.
